A Tea to Remember – Saturday 2nd August 3pm   at St. Mark’s Room, Ampfield.  To mark the centenary of the outbreak of World War I – There weill be an an opportunity to view pen pictures of the 14 Ampfield men who died whislt serving in the conflict.  There will also be some WWI books and memorabilia on disply. Tea will include a scone, cream and jam, a slice of cake and tea or coffee.  The cost will be £4 – no need to book, just come along.

The Church School [external link] for the parish is Ampfield CofE Primary School [external link], which is situated in Knapp Lane in Ampfield. Close ties are kept between St Marks church and school and the clergy have a regular presence in the school during the week.
