Sunday worship is a more formal lay lead service geared primarily towards adult teaching. We love to welcome families though and have some resources for you to help to occupy little ones. We don’t celebrate communion in this service but rather use the extra time for a slightly longer talk, and more opportunity for response to the liturgy.

Welcome however this Sunday finds you

Whoever you are, whatever has brought you to this page, know that you are welcome to join us for worship.

Whether you’re convinced there is no God, haven’t been in a church for thirty years, or are visiting and looking for somewhere to worship: our doors are open. Come be welcomed in. No obligation…

Two weeks of Advent

This service marks the second of the four weeks of Advent. It is a time of waiting for something important.

The coming of Jesus as child in Bethlehem, and his future return as king to make right all the wrongs of the earth.

In the second week of Advent we read the book of Isaiah who prophecies that Jesus will come. Isaiah wrote about 500 years before Jesus birth. We also hear about John the Baptist, the enigmatic figure who called people to change their ways and be baptised before Jesus started his holy work. Did you know that the ancient church of North Baddesley on Flexford Road is dedicated to St John the Baptist? We can arrange visits to the church for anyone who wishes to see this little treasure our community has looked after for nearly a thousand years.

Advent can be submerged with parties and purchasing things but it can be a tough time for those with money or relationship troubles and for those living with mental health issues or chronic illness. If you want to know more about who Jesus is and what he has done and will do or simply to talk about the stresses and strains of Advent we are here to help.

About Sunday Worship at All Saints

Sunday worship is well, worship on a Sunday. Need I say more?

To be serious we meet up for a fairly structured service with opportunities for time for teaching. We don’t celebrate Holy Communion in this service but have a slightly longer talk and more time for response with songs and thinking. Please read this page: Sunday Worship, North Baddesley All Saints
